Karma

This dog must have chased a few too many cats in its past life.

Crocodile Farm - Feeding Time

This past weekend we went to the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm

The crocodile wrestling show was nice, but I came for feeding time.

These were the jumping Crocs.  A bit smaller than the lazy cousins above who couldn't roll over for food if it didn't land in their mouth.  At 20 baht per chicken carcass, I could have done this all day.

We also fed the baby tigers.

Mom's Visit 2011

After a 40 hour flight including a 16 hour tsunami delay, my mom finally arrived in Bangkok this past Thursday.  After relaxing all Friday, we decided to relax some more at the Bang Saen beach with a stop off at Moom Aroi for lunch.

Lots of Seafood

That was Saturday.  On Sunday we started the day off with lunch at a Ruan Petch Suki.

The theme of the first couple days has been all about food with a foot massage thrown in here and there.  We also did some feeding.  Here I am about to feed the crocodiles at the Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm.  They prefer bony chicken carcasses.

World's Worst Beer

Courtesy of the Shanghai Pudong Airport.

I'm usually okay with Tsingtao, but the keg where this pint came from must have been sitting around since the the Long March.  It reminded me of a can of warm, flat Nat Light on a Sunday morning after game day. I couldn't force it down and in the end, I had to leave it behind in Shanghai like a wounded soldier.

Additing insult to wound - it was 12USD!!!!

Dinner At Bacco's

After a couple day's of rice and stir-fried chicken only a fat Italian meal can appease my taste buds.

Here's Bacco's Saltimbocca Alla Romano.  Veal topped with fontina cheese and parma ham.

Nuch had PETTO D'ANATRA ALL'ARANCIO - Duck breast in orange sauce served with spinach & mashed potato

Devil Dog

Nuch and I were at a local restaurant when this bright-eyed mut came scrounging for leftovers.  All he wanted were some chicken bones (Thai dogs can eat'em) and our souls.
