This is my last overdue Christmas 2012 post.

Here is the Siam Square Wishmas Tree where people could fill out little cards with hopes, prayers, and wishes and hang them on the tree.

Some people asked that Thais and people of the world could love each other and find unity forever.

Others were more practical and asked that their family be happy, warm, lucky, and rich.

My flight landed at 630 am, and I was at the hotel by 8 am.  

I couldn't check in until noon, so I took a walk on the beach.

After a walk up and down the beach I still had plenty of time to kill, so I took a nap underneath this tree.

Nuch and I stopped for lunch at a Northeastern Thai restaurant recently. 

After checking the menu, I had to take a second look.  Fortunately, their specialty that particular day was Red Ant Eggs, and not what I first thought was being graphically represented on their menu board.

Nuch and I went to see our first movie in over a year.  We had the choice of Prometheus and Madagascar 3

More Feet

Sticking with the feet theme, Nuch and I had some visitors last week. My friend Stewart of noodle shop fame needed to visit the UK embassy to get a visa for his wife and passport for his newborn son, and I invited him to spend the night with us.

In typical Isaan fashion, the grandma, aunt, and cousin came along, and being being polite, as they are, they took their shoes off in front of the house.
