Family Trip - Hua Hin

In late August, the stars were aligned - Nuch, her brother, and I all had some free time, so we kidnapped Nuch's mother and took her to the beach for the first time in 20 years

Return To Korat

Before I started my new job, Nuch and I took a day trip to sign the lease to my condo and visit one of the luckiest temples in Korat.

Although it's new and clean, my condo is not worth looking at.  However, the pool and clubhouse have a nice resort feel.

Samut Prakan

There's a local blogger, Richard Barrow, that lives near us on the outskirts of Bangkok.  He's got a drone and posted some pictures of our area, Samut Prakan.

Samut Prakan has always been known for being out in the sticks, but with the new sky train extension, it's getting it's first high rise apartments and an observation tower where you can watch the Chao Phraya river meet the Gulf of Thailand.

The Rainy Season Pt 1

The monsoons have come again and along with the rains come the floods.  As Bangkok grows and new roads and new developments are built, the flow of water to the sea is constantly re-negotiated.  This year, the once new and elevated road near my office is now a temporary river.
