McD's Thailand Is Woke

When you walk through the door of the Pak Chong McDonald's, an electronic kiosk asks you to "Check Your Privilege". 

Fortunately, this means almost the exact opposite in Thailand to what it means in the US.

Big Menu

Most Thai restaurants have big menus in the since that they have the full range of Thai cuisine - seafood, soups, curries, salads/ veggies, fried/ grilled meats, plus a mix of basic Western and Japanese dishes.

This place near Nuch's mother's house turns it up to 11 with a physically big menu to go along with its already big menu.

Steak Night

Once a year, my buddy, Marc, and I go out for steaks at the JW Marriott - arguably, the best steaks in town. Not cheap, but Marc has a 50% discount card and when we split the bill (normally, we're paying for our wives), it's like paying 25% what we would normally pay for a nice dinner out.
