Nuch sends me a pic of Tipper almost every day.  So, for posterity here are some recent pics and an update from Heng Heng - the cat that Nuch rescued from the Highway.

I've taken a break from steaks and ribs and am working on my burger skills. My first experiment was with a smash/butter burger hybrid.

U2 Joshua Tree Tour - Singapore

I don't have a bucket list, but I'm going to make one and this will be the first thing I scratch off.

I'll fly down from Bangkok and Mike Ryan will fly in from Hawaii for two nights in Singapore, so we can relive our teenage angst together. 

Introducing น้องดำ (Nong Dahm)

Nong Dahm, a stray dog, was adopted by our neighborhood security guards about 6 months ago.  This week one of our neighbors gave Nong Dahm her first collar and name tag.

She was very proud.

East Meets West

Budweiser has finally made its way to Thailand. So, last week I had a few pints along with a Thai/ American fusion Basil Chicken and Cheese pizza at Korat's newest restaurant - the appropriately named, Fat Boy Tavern.

Color Blind II

My rental contract is coming up in September, so I'm starting to look for a new home or condo.

First, there are not many decent options with no posh neighborhoods or a right side of the tracks, and it seems that regular home maintenance and upkeep is unheard of in Korat.

Second, and similar to my research last year, the color schemes chosen for many homes are something you would expect to find in a CIA enhanced interrogation center along with Britney Spears cranked up to 11.
