Mike Ryan Sighting In Bangkok

I'm trying to catch up on some old posts, so a lot of these newer posts won't be chronological.  Mike had a meeting with the Thai and US Air Forces, but had time over the weekend to catch up.

As a tradition for wherever we meet up in the world, we made it to the highest spot in Bangkok for a photo shoot.

John's 50th At Ms Maria & Mr Singh

My buddy, John, turned 50 during the Covid lockdown in 2021, so he had the official celebration a year late at a new Mexican/ Indian fusion restaurant.

Buriram's Newest Farmer

My old boss, Carl - who first hired me at Trim, has retired and settled near his wife's family home in Buriram.

He was in tires.  Now, he's a farmer.

Feeding the fish - lots of fish!!

This will eventually be a waterfall.  We're scheduled to go back when it's finished.

Wat Phanom Rung - Buriram

Some pics from our trip to Buriram.   After visiting my old boss, Carl, we stopped by Wat Phanom Rung, which is Thailand's version of Ankor Wat.

The Great Escape

Along with the Queen, the Boy cat, and the Other cats, there is one more neighborhood cat that belongs to Haru's family or the Pew Pew household

Unlike the other All Seasons cats, this is a house cat.  Unless it's let outside and leashed to a tree...

One day, Nuch was talking to our landlord outside our house.  When she said goodbye and went back inside, she heard some strange jangling sounds.  The Pew Pew cat must have snuck in while the door was open without anyone noticing.

Nuch eventually teased her out from under the stairs

and our fearless gardener took her home and back to the leash

It took about a year, but I'm happy to say the Pew Pew cat is now allowed to roam freely
