A Bad Day Of Golf...

Is better than a good day of work - unless it's Sunday, you're playing with your boss, and you're really bad at golf.  

After a 4 year hiatus, I returned to shoot a 138

 

Adding insult to injury, my golf shoes, which had not been worn for 4 years, started to fall apart on the 2nd hole.

 

First, the cleats fell off and then the soles started to tear away. Fortunately, my caddie had brought some rubber bands for just such an occasion.

Aside from "working" on Sunday, the lousy score and the broken shoes, it was a beautiful day in Khao Yai

Something unique about my Korat condo - after a heavy rain, dozens of snails come out and decide to cross the footpaths.

 

The daytime is okay, but walking to my building after some rain at night is like blindly traversing a mind field.

This Is Spinal Tailor

For the King's ceremony, we were sitting in a special area, so my boss and I had to rent Thai Government uniforms - to help us blend in, I suppose. 

 

I was a bit shocked and dejected to see that my suit was a 5XL!!!  I didn't know sizes went that high.  It made me think of Spinal Tap - who go to 11.  Most tailors go to 3XL or maybe 4XL, but when you need one more.  This one goes to 5XL
