Separation Of Church And State

As you've seen from some of my recent posts, Thailand - particularly North and Central Thailand are experiencing some of the worst flooding in decades.

The next stop in Bangkok, and Bangkokians are anxiously waiting for the day when government officials open the levees that are currently protecting Bangkok - and causing all the flooding in Central Thailand.

This is from Bangkok Pundit's blog

It's a memo from the Bangkok Government inviting its directors and department heads to a religious ceremony to beg the water gods not to flood Bangkok.
