In Thailand the light switches at new construction sites are usually covered in plastic. At my house, Nuch and I took them off after we moved in. However, at the factory where I work, they're all still covered.
There's one switch in a meeting room that is a bit disturbing.
On the odd occasion that I need to turn this light on (I usually wait for someone else to go in first), I try to convince myself that it's simply two eyelashes that got stuck behind the plastic to be preserved for eternity.
