Khao San And Asiatique

We spent one of our first days around Khao San Rd and one of our last days at Asiatique.  Both are by the river and in the old part of town, so I'll combine them in the same post.

 After a morning walk through Khao San and foot massage, we took a canal tour

After the tour, we had our boat drop us off at Kin Lom Chom Saphan where we met Nuch for dinner.

 Back to Khao San for an evening stroll

This was earlier in the day, but worth noting.  There was a kitchen fire in one of the buildings along Khao San Rd.  From the adjacent building, a tatted up backpacker was trying to put the fire out with a garden hose.  Sometimes heroes don't wear capes - or shirts.
