Last week, Nuch and I joined a casual brunch at a friend's apartment.
Everyone brought something to snack on and our host treated us to breakfast burritos made with the ground pork from inside Johnsonville sausage. Highly recommended.
No breaking wind
No buffaloes, monitor lizards, or rhinos
No Calvin and Hobbes watering the lawn
No flying kites
No helping someone stretch their hamstring
These are all Thai slang for actions or types of people that are inappropriate in public - or in a taxi. A few are international. The animal references are definitely local. Congrats if you can guess what flying a kite is slang for.
A local blogger, Richard Barrow, travels around Thailand and takes pictures from above. He's got some great pictures at his website - http://thailandfromabove.com/
Wat Bang Bing is the temple near our home where Nuch releases this fish that she saves from the market.
