Upgraded In China

Staying outside of China's larger cities is usually pretty miserable - they're dirty, crowded, and limited options for western food, but I have to give them credit on their hotels.  For very reasonable prices you can stay in clean and modern rooms.

On a recent trip, I lucked out and was upgraded to large suites on both of my stops.  It was almost enough to make me want to stay longer

This was in the outskirts of Shanghai.
