Nuch To The Rescue

On the way to meet some friends for lunch yesterday, Nuch found a kitten on the expressway.  By expressway, I mean it's an elevated highway that goes around Bangkok with exits only every 5 miles or so.  How this kitten got there is any ones guess, but we think it must have crawled into someone's engine and hung on for dear life until the car or truck slowed down due to some traffic.

Nuch took her to the vet where she will stay for a week to get vaccines and let her hind leg heal.

She already has a name and a new home.  Heng Heng, which means lucky in Chinese, will go stay with a lady that rescues stray animals.

Heng Heng was a understandably scared on the highway and bit Nuch when she tried to grab her, so Nuch got a tetanus shot and she's going through the rabies protocol.  All in a days work.
