You Must Sow Before You Can Reap

This past Sunday was Dear's birthday (Nuch's Thai Air friend with all the purses).

For her birthday, instead of throwing a big bash at her new house, Dear invited a few friends to make a donation at a local orphanage called Teacher Noi's House. Noi is a retired teacher who has opened her home to homeless children. The orphanage has been running for 25 years and regularly takes care of about 50 kids. I was also told that a fair number of them have been able to finish high school and go on to university with the help of scholarships.

Here's a group photo. Birthday girl, Dear, and her husband are on the top right.

Nuch and her co-worker serving lunch. We also donated school supplies and things like soap, rice, and snacks.

One of the young girls was wearing a shirt that said "You must sow before you can reap". Oddly appropriate coming from an orphan.

Nuch and her friend Gift along with Dear's mother.

After lunch, I handed out some popsicles.

Some more pics.

These are some pictures the kids drew for Father's Day, which is held on the King's Birthday.
