The Importance Of Education

You may have noticed that Thailand is in the news once again for more protests. This time it's by the "Red Shirts", who represent Thailand's rural poor.

Here are some signs that were paraded around during their recent campaign on the streets of Bangkok. Being farmers, you can forgive some of the misspellings. However, one of the Red Shirts arguments is that they deserve to be better represented in the Thai government. Unfortunately, their primary opposition, the "Yellow Shirts", have argued that Thailand's rural poor are not educated enough to be able to take a significant role in deciding who runs the government.

Point it... these signs didn't help matters much, at least when it comes showing off your English spelling and grammar.

This is supposed to say Against the Coup

The guy on the right is the leader of the "Yellow Shirts" who shut down the airport 2 years ago, which led to the current Prime Minister taking office.

I like how someone figured it out and changed "Militang" to Military.
